The DeepFake Headset works by attacking the deepfake rather than trying to detect it. It functions because there are almost unlimited ways to bend light with a lens. In its present iteration, it’s mostly static; however, as the technology advances, the anti-deepfake technology will connect to servers that will modify the optical behavior in real-time, enabling an artificial intelligence network to attack the deepfake.
